Bachelor´s Button is a pattern by William Morris (1834-96), the English designer and writer recognised as the leading figure of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Bachelor´s Button is another name for cornflower, a beutiful wild flower that Morris would have encountered on his country walks. The iconic style of William Morris was inspired from nature and formed into repeated patterns with timeless appeal.
